Thermax Introduces High Pressure Ambient Vaporizers For Laser Applications

SOUTH DARTMOUTH, MA – June 28, 2002

Thermax, Inc has introduced a new line of ambient vaporizers geared specifically for high pressure laser applications. The new vaporizers are finned aluminum extrusions designed to withstand high pressures, but are compact to fit into a limited space.

The ambient vaporizers have a standard design pressure of 600 psig, but can also be built to design pressures of 8000 psig and higher. The vaporizers are self-supporting and are generally less than 8 ft high. Bill Everett, Vice President of Thermax, commented, “ We are meeting the growing needs of high pressure laser applications with this line of vaporizers.”
