Side Arm Vaporizer
Thermax Side Arm Vaporizers are generally used for maintaining tank pressure. With the advent of vacuum jacketed tanks, tank pressure cannot be maintained without an outside source of heat as provided by the sidearm vaporizer. As cryogen flows through the side arm by natural thermosyphon forces, the liquid is vaporized by direct contact with an immersion heater or indirectly through contact with an inner vessel filled with water/glycol. The heaters on the side arm are controlled with a pressure switch that is provided as part of the standard package.
Standard units are available from 3 Kw to 150 Kw.
